Dr. Feroze Sidhwa’s harrowing experiences treating patients in Gaza undoubtedly show that Israel’s “war” on Gaza is not a conflict with Hamas—but a full throated attack on the civilian population.
Mendocino For Palestine held a Teach-in in Caspar last September and Dr. Sidhwa was our first presenter. He described the horrific situation in Gaza with first-hand details and images. We usually just hear how many people were killed or injured. Dr. Sidhwa was able to put names and faces to some of the numbers. He described the way in which Israel is systematically dismantling the healthcare infrastructure in an effort to create as much suffering as possible. We have so much respect for the work the Dr. Sidhwa is doing, as a doctor, but also for speaking out against the inhumane and barbaric treatment of innocent people who are just like you and me.
